SUMMARY:GNCC Big Buck
DESCRIPTION:GNCC Big Buck\nThe GNCC Big Buck course presents the standard obstacles: everything from tight woods\, to fields\, creek crossings and hill climbs. It’s a fast\, wide-open course\, but definitely not easy! The field sections are very fast and they get chopped up and rough as the weekend goes on\, so you need to have your suspension dialed in. \nUsually\, a spectacular creek jump is incorporated into the course where the riders launch off of a bank and over the water. Of course\, there’s a path around the jump for those who aren’t as comfortable with air time. \nThe Big Buck facility is owned by Henry Turner and his family\, and they are big fans and supporters of GNCC Racing. Even the town of Union gets behind the Big Buck big time. \nSince the course gets rough\, riders need to be smart. New lines often open up throughout the race\, so constantly scanning the terrain for a smoother route can save energy and reduce risks. Fueling must be done on a tarp or mat. \n\n\nSaturday- Pits will be near the finish line \n\n\n\n\nSunday- Pits will be at the Start/ Finish line as in years past. \n\n\nAgain\, only racers are allowed to work on their bike and may receive any parts\, tools\, fuel\, water\, etc. from an outside person. \n\n\nOnly racers are allowed on a hot race course\, no pit crew. \n\n\n​ \nMotorcycle Rules & Regulations\n\n\nAll motorcycles will be race ready machines without any technical unsafe issues. \n\n\nSpark arrestors are required. \n\n\nRace numbers are based on the AMA United States Hard Enduro series. \n\n\nNo outside assistance will be permitted. \n\n\nRacers may help racers on the course as long as they have not finished or timed out. \n\n\nAny work done to the motorcycle will be done by the racer or racers not finished or timed out. \n\n\nThe course will be difficult\, ascending in difficulty as the weekend proceeds. \n\n\n\n\nCheckpoints will be clearly marked on the course and on the GPS. \n\n\nNo passing in the checkpoints!
