Grinding Stone Hard Enduro | AMA US National Hard Enduro (NHE) Championship
The Grinding Stone Hard Enduro is a marquee event in the AMA US Hard Enduro Series, held annually in the rugged red rock landscapes of Page, Arizona. Hosted by the Rockstars Motorcycle Club, the race is renowned for its technical “slickrock” terrain, featuring massive sandstone mesas, near-vertical climbs, and boulder-filled washes. Its proximity to landmarks like Lake Powell and Horseshoe Bend provides a world-class backdrop, making it one of the most spectator-friendly off-road races in the United States, complete with a designated spectator loop and UTV shuttle services.
The competition follows a grueling three-race knockout format designed to whittle down hundreds of riders to an elite few for a high-intensity main event. On-course features with names like “High Dive” and “Stairway to Heaven” challenge even professional riders like Ryder LeBlond, the 2025 champion. Beyond the main trail action, the event often features a Street Shootout in the center of Page, where athletes navigate man-made obstacles for cash prizes and prime gate picks for the following day’s desert warfare.
