Dylan Oxley
April 2026 | From Trail Beginnings to Motocross Passion
This April, we are proud to feature Dylan Oxley as our BCC Spotlight Rider — a 22-year-old rider who proves that sometimes the best journeys begin with a simple idea and a willingness to follow it.
For Dylan, riding has become something deeper than speed or style. It is about connection — getting out of the house, meeting up with friends and family, and spending long days at the track doing what he loves most. What started as a casual thought — “I think I want to get a dirt bike” — quickly turned into a defining part of his life.
He began his journey riding trails at Mines and Meadows, along with other wooded riding spots, building confidence and skill in the terrain. But it was a day at Battlesburg MX that shifted everything. After a rough start in the woods — looping his bike and taking a hit that ended with a shattered headlight on his TE300 — Dylan decided to try the motocross track before heading home. That moment changed everything. What he found on the track was something unexpected: pure joy, challenge, and a new direction.
From that day forward, motocross became his focus. What was once a hobby has grown into a full-blown passion, fueled by the drive to improve with every lap. While he is not currently racing, Dylan has his sights set on possibly lining up at the gate in the near future.
You can find Dylan Oxley riding at some of his favorite tracks, including Bull Run Raceway, N.A.P City MX, and TV Land MX — each one offering its own unique layout, energy, and community that keeps him coming back.
He currently rides both a Husqvarna FC 450 and a Stark Varg, embracing the contrast between gas and electric power and the different riding experiences each bike brings to the track.
For younger riders coming up in the sport, Dylan offers advice that feels honest and hard-earned:
“Stay consistent and do not get discouraged. There will be good days and bad days, crashes, and frustrating motos — it is all part of the process. Keep practicing, listen to experienced riders, and focus on improving yourself instead of comparing yourself to others. Most importantly, have fun and enjoy the ride.”
Grateful for the support around him and the community that fuels the sport, Dylan continues to ride with intention, growth, and a deep appreciation for every lap.

“There will be good days and bad days, crashes, and frustrating motos — it is all part of the process.“
