Beaver Creek Cycle Rider Spotlight
Jace Wells
Taking the February 2026 BCC Spotlight is Jace Wells, a 16-year-old rider whose journey into racing began exactly where many great stories do — watching his dad gear up and head out to ride with friends. Those early moments sparked something lasting, and before long, Jace was carving his own path on two wheels.
Jace got his start racing harescrambles, learning how to read terrain, manage endurance, and ride with intention through the woods. As his skills evolved, so did his focus. Today, he is leaning more fully into motocross, refining his technique and sharpening his edge aboard a Husqvarna FC 250. The shift reflects his growing confidence and desire to challenge himself in new ways.
His favorite place to ride is simple and telling — his local motocross track, surrounded by his buddies, pushing laps, trading lines, and making every session count. For Jace, riding is about more than speed. It is about awareness, control, and choosing the smartest line at the right moment.
With focus, humility, and a clear love for the ride, Jace Wells represents the next generation of riders shaping the future of the sport.

“Racing is not just about being the fastest — it is about being the smartest and smoothest rider on the track.”
