Jared Hoopes
March 2026 | From Trackside Dreams to Harescramble Champion
This March, we are proud to recognize Jared Hoopes as our BCC Spotlight Rider, a 15-year-old competitor who has spent the last four years steadily building his place in the world of off-road racing.
Jared’s journey did not begin on the track — it began on the sidelines. Watching his cousins ride pit bikes while he sat without one of his own lit a quiet determination that would not fade. By age 11, that determination turned into action when he got his first bike, and from that moment on, there was no looking back.
What started as racing a handful of CRA races each season quickly evolved into something more. Through consistent practice, long days in the woods, and a strong support system of friends and family, Jared sharpened his skills and found his rhythm. That dedication paid off in a big way when he went on to win his class at EROCs, marking a major milestone in his racing journey.
Jared now rides a range of machines — including a Honda CRF 110, Husqvarna TC 85 Big Wheel, and Husqvarna TC 150 — each one playing a role in his continued growth as a rider. His favorite discipline is harescramble racing, where technical terrain, endurance, and strategy all come into play.
His top track choice is Homestead, known for its perfect blend of hills and open sections — a layout that rewards both skill and flow, two things Jared continues to refine with every ride.
For those just starting out, Jared offers advice grounded in experience and grit:
“Hard work pays off when talent does not work hard.”
From watching on the sidelines to standing at the top of his class, Jared Hoopes is proof that persistence, patience, and passion will always find their way forward.

“I would like to give a big thank you to the BCC team and my family and friends that got me here today.”
